With over 40 years of experience in surveying, reporting, auditing and management, we pride ourselves on providing high quality and professional surveying services, as well as consultancy and advice, for the detection and management of contaminated substances in commercial and residential properties in New Zealand.
We work with property owners, property managers, commercial construction companies, the Ministry of Education and more.
Key Personnel
Alexandra Dalzell
Alex has been providing consultancy advice, site assessments, decontamination plans and post-decontamination clearances for hazardous substances since 2016 and more recently for Covid-19 cases in New Zealand.
She is a Forensic Scientist with experience in crime scene investigation, drug analysis, forensic chemistry, forensic biology and toxicology working in the UK, USA and New Zealand.
She is a former director and part owner of a successful medical diagnostic company working closely with the Ministry of Health to service neo-natal and pre-natal medical screening in New Zealand.
Providing reporting, consultancy and expert evidence in court; Alex has a diverse set of skills that bring science, business and law together to offer the best expertise to her clients.
Qualifications include:
- BSc (Hons) in BioChemistry, MSc Forensic Science
- BOHS IP402, IP404
- Work Safe Licensed Assessor No: AA19020175
Mark Anthony (Technical Manager)
Mark has over 35 years’ experience in the Asbestos Industry. Mark is a qualified trainer, auditor, assessor and surveyor who has delivered over 100 training courses in New Zealand. Mark joined Forensic Specialists as he was seeking a role that would allow him to utilize his skills and expertise to promote health and safety initiatives.
From site surveying, delivering training, to site auditing, Marks knowledge helps FBS Ltd provide sound advice to clients when working with difficult situations.
Qualifications include:
- BOHS CCP Asbestos, S301, P406,
- CAPM3 – Asbestos Project Management
- UKATA trainer
- ARCA Independent Auditor
- BOHS Approved Trainer
- Work Safe Licensed Assessor No: AA17110182
- Class B removal / Class B Supervisor (NZ)
